November a Month of Spiritual Goals

This month we are going to focus on where we need to grow in the spirit by setting spiritual goals.


Each day, we will read a scripture that contains a virtue that will be put into a spiritual goal that can be developed over the course of the month.


November 1st Goal: Charitable

Tobit 12:9 - For alms doth deliver from death, and shall purge away all sin. Those that exercise alms and righteousness shall be filled with life:


November 2nd Goal: Honesty

Ecclesiasticus 26:24 - A dishonest woman contemneth shame: but an honest woman will reverence her husband.


November 3rd Goal: Obedience

Ephesians 6:5 - Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;


November 4th Goal: Courageous

Psalms 27:14 - Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.


November 5th Goal: Hopeful

Jeremiah 17:7 - Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.


November 6th Goal: Passionate

Isaiah 26:8 - Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O LORD, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee.


November 7th Goal: Devotion

Matthew 24:46 - Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.


November 8th Goal: Humility

Proverbs 16:19 - Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.


November 9th Goal: Patience

Hebrews 10:36 - For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.


November 10th Goal: Diligence

Proverbs 22:29 - Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.


November 11th Goal: Industrious

Proverbs 31:15 - She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.


November 12th Goal: Peaceful

Matthew 5:9 - Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.


November 13th Goal: Faithful

1 Corinthians 2:5 - That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.


November 14th Goal: Generous

1 John 3:17 - But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?


November 15th Goal: Just

Ezekiel 18:9 - Hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord GOD.


November 16th Goal: Forgiving

Ephesians 4:32 - And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.


November 17th Goal: Joyful

Psalms 5:11 - But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.


November 18th Goal: Gracious

1 Peter 3:8 - Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:


November 19th Goal: Prayerful

Philippians 4:6 - Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.


November 20th Goal: Respectful

Psalms 119:117 - Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually.


November 21st Goal: kind

Ecclesiasticus 36:23 - If there be kindness, meekness, and comfort, in her tongue, then is not her husband like other men.
